Flyer Golf Club Marketplace Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Flyer Golf Club Marketplace App ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Use of the App
The App provides a platform for the buying and selling of second-hand golf clubs, clothes, bags and accessories. Users are solely responsible for their interactions and transactions. Flyer is not responsible for the accuracy of listings or the quality of items listed.
User Accounts
Users must create an account to use the App. By signing up via Google Single Sign-On (SSO) on the web or Android, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Listings and Transactions
Genuine Products Only
Flyer strictly prohibits the sale of counterfeit or inauthentic golf equipment. All items listed for sale must be genuine products from reputable manufacturers. Sellers found listing counterfeit goods will face immediate penalties, including but not limited to:
Account warnings
Suspension or permanent ban from Flyer
Loss of eligibility for dispute resolution and buyer/seller protection
Flyer reserves the right to remove any listing suspected of violating this policy and may request proof of authenticity from sellers. If you suspect a listing contains counterfeit goods, please report it to our support team immediately.
Sellers are responsible for accurate item descriptions, including condition and specifications. Sellers are required to ensure that items listed on the platform meet a minimum quality standard. Listings must accurately depict the condition of the items, including any noticeable defects or imperfections. By listing an item on the platform, sellers affirm that it meets the quality standards specified herein.
Buyers must review listings carefully before making a purchase. Flyer does not guarantee the availability, quality, or legality of listed items. Payment for items sold through the platform is contingent upon the accuracy and truthfulness of the listing. Flyer reserves the right to withhold payment or take other appropriate action if a seller's listing is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of these terms.
Prohibited Transactions Outside of the Flyer Platform
To maintain security and ensure a trustworthy experience for all users, Flyer strictly prohibits organising, negotiating, or completing sales outside of the Flyer app or website. Any attempt to bypass Flyer’s built-in transaction process, including but not limited to direct messaging, offline payments, or third-party payment methods, is a violation of our Terms of Service.
Secure Transactions via Flyer
All sales must be completed through the Flyer platform using the provided checkout, payment, and shipping options. This policy is in place to protect both buyers and sellers by ensuring transactions are processed securely and disputes can be resolved fairly.
Consequences of Off-Platform Sales
Users found attempting to arrange off-platform transactions may face penalties, including but not limited to:
Account warnings
Suspension or permanent ban from Flyer
Loss of eligibility for dispute resolution and buyer/seller protection
Reporting Off-Platform Sale Attempts
If you encounter a user attempting to move a transaction outside of Flyer, please report the activity to our support team. Keeping transactions within the platform helps maintain a fair and secure marketplace for all users.
Postage and Shipping
Sellers must use the integrated postage options provided in the App for shipping items. This ensures that the process remains secure and trackable. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their parcels are appropriately packaged and advised to document this to support their claim should any issues arise.
Shipping Responsibility
We partner with third-party shipping companies to deliver products to our customers. Once the products are handed over to the shipping company, the responsibility for the products' delivery and condition is transferred to the shipping company.

Damaged or Lost Items
In the event that your items are damaged or lost during shipping, Flyer will cover the cost of items up to £200. We hope to be able to offer additional insurance to high-value items very soon. At present, for higher-value items, we suggest you take out independent postage insurance.
Tracking and Follow-Up
We will provide tracking information for your shipment once it is available. It is your responsibility to monitor the shipment’s progress and contact the shipping carrier for any issues or delays. We are not responsible for tracking or following up on shipments after they have been handed over to the shipping carrier.
Fees and Fee Changes
Transactions conducted through the platform are subject to the following fees:
Seller Fee: 0%
Buyer Fee: 2% + 50p per transaction as a 'Flyer Protection' fee.
There are no listing fees for using the platform. Flyer reserves the right to change these fees or introduce new fees at any time. Any changes to fees will be communicated through the App or email.
Returns Policy
Flyer offers a Buyer Protection policy for returns. If an item received by the buyer does not match the description provided by the seller, the buyer may request a return within 3 days of receiving the item. The buyer must initiate the return process through the App's designated channels (please email info@flyer.golf) and provide evidence to support their claim, such as photographs or written descriptions of discrepancies.
Upon receipt of the return request and supporting evidence, Flyer will review the case and may facilitate a return and refund in accordance with its Buyer Protection policy. Returns may be subject to certain conditions and eligibility criteria, including but not limited to the item being in its original condition and packaging.
Privacy Policy
The collection and use of personal information are subject to Flyer's Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The content and materials on the App are protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
Limitation of Liability
Flyer is not liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to transactions, interactions, or technical issues.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Flyer harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from their use of the App.
Modifications and Termination
Flyer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App at any time without notice. Users' rights to use the App may also be terminated for violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
